simmons college with a major in psychology and a minor in special education, graduating this spring.
i am also enrolled in their accelerated master's program for special education (moderate
disabilities) with an expected graduation of may 2013. i have worked and volunteered in many
after-school programs in association with the ymca in group leader positions for children ages 6-14.
i have a good deal of experience working as a private nanny/tutor for families of children with
special needs. i have observed and volunteered in elementary schools throughout my undergraduate
career with grades k-6. i also currently hold an internship working with students with special needs
in a learning center at an elementary school in brookline. i am extremely patient, hardworking,
reliable, and dedicated. i have experience tutoring elementary students in all subjects....
